1956 Hubert Deimel founds the company under the name “Hubert Deimel Household Goods Factory” in the basement of his residence in Finnentrop-Deutmecke.
The Famos potato peeler is produced and sold. This gives its name to the company, Famos GmbH, for a long time.
With more than 130 permanent employees we produce a large part of our products here in Germany. (Made in Germany). In the departments plastic injection molding, plastics extrusion, aluminum die casting, zinc die-casting and Metal processing teams of long-term employees with a lot of experience in plastic and metal production produce a great number of reliable products every day.
The in-house tool- and mould-making department gives the necessary technical support. Colleagues from the packaging department make sure that each and every articles is carefully put into the adequate sales packaging.
